Wyoming's Natrona County District Court has upheld the Wyoming Oil and Gas Conservation Commission's (WOGCC) refusal to disclose trade secret constituents of hydraulic fracturing fluids to the public.  The presiding judge explained that the state acted reasonably under Wyoming law in denying the request for the trade secret information.  A collection of local and national environmental groups had joined together to challenge the WOGCC's decision.  Wyoming laws and regulations require full operator disclosure of hydraulic fracturing fluid constituents to the state, but offers trade secret protection for disclosures to the public.
