Chesapeake Appalachia, LLC pled guilty to three criminal violations of the Clean Water Act related to the filling of a wetland without a permit in order to create a road.  Through the plea agreement, Chesapeake agreed to a $600,000 fine and will be on probation, under the supervision of the court, for two years.
