A land conservation group in Wyoming, Trust for Public Lands, announced its plan to buy out 58,000 acres of oil and gas leases near Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park in order to prevent drilling in the area.  Trust for Public Lands will pay a total of $8.75 million and must have raised almost half the purchase price by the end of the year.
