Neil Kornze is expected to be named the acting national director of the Bureau of Land Management later this week, temporarily replacing Mike Pool. Mr. Kornze will serve in that role until a new director is nominated and confirmed by the Senate. Mr. Kornze has served as the acting deputy director for programs and policy for the BLM, and worked for several years as an adviser to Senator Harry Reid of Nevada.
